About

OUR MISSION

Empowering the Next Generation of Women in STEM

As a small, community-funded organization, our core mission is to actively address the persistent gender gap in technology by providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for young women interested in STEM.

Founded by women who personally experienced the isolation of male-dominated engineering programs, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where young women can confidently learn, grow, and apply their creativity without fear or prejudice. We aim to equip the next generation of female engineers and innovators with both the technical skills and the self-assurance needed to excel in the field.

WHAT WE DO

LEARN

Our all-female FIRST Robotics team is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of innovators and skilled professionals, specifically addressing the gender gap in STEM. Beyond building a competitive robot, we provide a dynamic, real-world incubator for young women to master high-demand skills.

DESIGN

We teach our girls to design and build from the ground up, starting with computer drafting to create precise blueprints for every part. We prototype to prove our ideas will actually work, saving time and resources. Our core challenge is to invent and build a complex machine that is entirely new each season, giving our young women invaluable experience in applied innovation, problem-solving, and bringing an original idea to life.

CREATE

We provide our all-female students with practical, hands-on manufacturing expertise. Under the guidance of professional engineers, the team executes the build process utilizing everything from standard fabrication tools to state-of-the-art milling machines. Through this process, we effectively teach the intersection of precision, craftsmanship, and aesthetic design, setting a high standard for quality and demonstrating the competency of women in technical production.

COMPETE

As a distinctive, all-girls organization, we stand out in the annual FTC competitive landscape, facing off against many other teams in local and regional tournaments. Success demands excellence in multiple areas: our students must articulate their end-to-end engineering and design journey to a panel of judges, proving their technical mastery. Simultaneously, they engage in dynamic field competition, requiring strategic collaboration and alliance-building with peers to achieve high scores. The competition serves as a critical capstone experience, fusing real-world communication, complex teamwork, and the excitement of competitive technical leadership.
